D. Stephenson Construction provided CM@Risk Services for the new Fire Station 8 for the City of West Palm Beach. The new Fire Station 8 contain three (3) bays and houses living and working quarters for two (2) full crews and contain an exercise room, workshop, decontamination room and other typical facilities associated with fire stations. The floor area of this station is 10,000 square feet. The station was designed for a Category 4 storm event (140 MPH with 3-second gusts wind speed).  This is a LEED Silver registered project.  The fire station is operated by the City of West Palm Beach, but during design the property was annexed into the City of Palm Beach Gardens. This required navigating several jurisdictions for design approvals and inspections.
