MIAMI DOLPHINS TRAINING FACILITY
The Miami Dolphins’ new training facility was the result of wanting to bring all of the team’s football and business operations to one place: the Hard Rock Stadium campus. The new venue is 50,000 square feet larger than the pre-existing facility and is intended to accomplish two goals: create a purposeful, efficient space and maximize player performance. This new facility is indicative of the Miami Dolphins organization’s goals and is a key element in activating the stadium campus throughout the year.
The Baptist Health Training Complex houses an innovation hub for new technology, spatial computing and a walkthrough space. For athlete recovery, it includes a hydrotherapy area, fuel bar, cryotherapy and isolation tanks, and an athletic training room with expansive rehabilitation space. The two-story weight room features a cardio deck that overlooks the indoor fieldhouse. Team meeting rooms have direct access to the fields, locker rooms, equipment space and the dining hall. In addition to team facilities, offices, conferences rooms, and the draft room are located on the second floor. All of the program is organized around the outdoor practice fields and provides views to Hard Rock Stadium, serving as a reminder to the players and staff of the team’s purpose.
