CITY OF MIRAMAR ANSIN SPORTS COMPLEX

D. Stephenson Construction in conjunction with Gulf Building provided Construction Management Services for the City of Miramar new Ansin Sports Complex. The scope consisted of the new construction of Multi-Activity, 24-Acre Property with stadium (5,000 plus seating capacity), Track and Field – Football Field, Soccer Field, pavilion w/restrooms, concession stand, playing courts, and track & fi eld. Other amenities include: 8-Lane Oval/9-Lane Straightaway which includes: 400 meter standard track, FTX Mondo Surface, IAAF (Intl. Association of Athletics Federations) Certifi ed, Steeplechase, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Discus and Hammer Throw (Combined), Javelin Throw, Shot Put, Warm Up Area. Track Markings: All lanes are marked by white lanes, International starts are marked, fi nish line is painted black to assist alignment of the Photo Finish equipment and to facilitate the reading of the Photo Finish image. The complex has a 9,000SF Community Center which includes: Locker Rooms with Male & Female Showers, Concession Stands, Multi- Purpose Room, Computer Lab and Game Room. The sports entertainment amenities include: Football/Soccer Field within stadium, 3 Outdoor Basketball Courts, 1 Netball Court, Cricket Batting Cages, Boundless playground covered and Press Box.
